What we collect,
and why.

The short version

This page covers the CashPerk marketing site at cashperk.app — specifically, the waitlist signup form. If you use the CashPerk app at app.cashperk.app, a separate app privacy policy governs how scans, cashback, and cashouts are handled.

We collect your phone number when you join the waitlist. We use it only to notify you when CashPerk launches near you. We don't share it, sell it, or message you about anything else.

What we collect

  • Phone number. Required when you submit the waitlist form. Stored in E.164 format (+1242…). We use this to text or WhatsApp you when the app goes live.
  • Audience. Whether you signed up as a user or a merchant. Helps us tailor the launch message.
  • Source. The page where you signed up (e.g. cashperk.app/). Used to understand which posts drove signups.
  • Browser user agent. Trimmed to 300 characters. Used to spot spam and debug form issues.
  • IP address. Captured automatically by our hosting provider. Used for abuse prevention.
  • Anonymous analytics. Plausible Analytics tracks page views and button clicks with no cookies and no personal identifiers.

What we don't collect

  • Your name, email, address, or date of birth.
  • Your location — we don't ask the browser for GPS on this page.
  • Any tracking cookies, third-party pixels, or ad-network identifiers.

How we use what we collect

  • Notify you by SMS or WhatsApp when CashPerk launches at a food truck near you.
  • Match your phone number to your CashPerk account if you later sign up and scan a QR at a merchant — so welcome bonuses and launch credits work correctly.
  • Understand signup volume over time to plan our launch.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with advertisers, merchants, or anyone else. We will only disclose data if compelled by a valid legal order in The Bahamas.

Who stores it

  • Supabase — our database. Servers in the US (Ohio region).
  • Vercel — hosts this site and logs standard request metadata (IP, user-agent) for operational purposes.
  • Plausible — privacy-friendly analytics. No cookies, no personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until you ask us to remove it or until one year after CashPerk is fully launched, whichever comes first. Anonymous analytics (page views, click counts) may be retained indefinitely.

Your rights

You can request that we delete your waitlist entry at any time — no questions asked, no reason required. Email privacy@cashperk.app or WhatsApp +1 (242) 565-0414 with the phone number you used to sign up, and we'll remove your record within seven days.
